About myself:
I'm not very good at describing myself. But I see myself as open minded with a good sense of humor. Some people cannot appreciate my humor, but I guess it's up to them. I like people who don't take themselves too serious and are capable to put things in perspective : everything is relative and the art is to distinguish the important from the unimportant. I was an only child, so I don't have any brothers nor sisters. My parents are both still alive and well, living in my home town Sint-Niklaas, while I moved to go live on my own. They are both retired now. I go visite them almost every week on sundays. And about my job; well, I like it and it's important to me: it gives me the chance to be creative and to create something from nothing. It all has to start with an idea and then, it's getting realized. Sometimes it's hard and things don't work out, but that's part of the challenge : never give up until success is reached. I guess you don't have a clue as of yet, but I'm currently responsible for everythig that has to do with software (and also a little hardware) for plant automation. I work for one of the major drinking water plants in Belgium.

I am looking for:
Why I decided to try and find love online? Well, simply because I got too many times disappointed by women here in Belgium. It seems women here rather build a career (working) of their own instead of having a loving and caring relation with their husband and build a family. Women here don't seem to want to raise their children on their own: they always want to outsource their children's education to the school and even before and after school, they put their children away with some organization who takes care of kids who's parents are out working all the time. I heard that eastern European women are much more family oriented and well educated themselves. That's why I wanted to explore my chances here. I realize there's always a risk involved in long distance relations, but I also thought it it can't hurt to give it a try. If it doesn't work out, at least I can't blame myself for never trying. I would not want to feel guilty when I'm old and still alone that I never tried harder to find someone to spend the rest of my life with and to be happy and create a family with. It's not that I feel unhappy with the way I live now, but I think my life could be more fulfilling with a family around me and together with a loving and caring wife. I think you will agree with me that a family life is more desirable than staying single ?
